Power TakeOff Case Study

An “easy-to-use” website—as easy as contacting Relish

A Boulder-based energy-sector tech firm needed a new website and came to Relish Studio for help.

The Who

Power TakeOff

Power TakeOff (PTO) makes energy management software, helping businesses better understand their energy usage and lower utility costs.

Problem

Frustrated by their previous website, Power TakeOff hired Relish to design and develop a modern, responsive site that they could easily manage.

Solution

Relish delivered a WordPress-based focused on one main goal: to encourage companies seeking energy-monitoring services to contact PTO staff.

Benefit

With a versatile and user-friendly design as the foundation, Relish launched a site that complemented PTO’s brand—and helped them connect with customers.

The challenge

Power TakeOff’s website was no longer delivering the right message to the company’s target market. Even more frustrating? It was on a platform that was proving nearly impossible to update by PTO staff.

The solution

Relish replaced PTO’s long out-of-date Joomla content management system with WordPress, a platform that’s infinitely easier to use and much more scalable.

The results

Color cues and well thought out navigation greatly improved customers’ ability to do what they needed to accomplish on the site. And since PTO had made it known that being able to manage and update the site themselves was first on the list of requirements, WordPress proved a natural fit.

“We met Relish Studio through a strategic partnership with another agency. After some discovery sessions and a project assessment, it was clear that their skillset was the right match for what we needed—and that our visions for the project and budgets were in alignment.”— Power TakeOff

The bottom line

Power TakeOff is now much better able to use their website to connect with its Fortune 500 customers and help them simplify their energy management—a big win from a “little” website project.
