OVERVIEW
Colorado nonprofit Seniors Resource Center reached out to Relish Studio to assist with redesigning and redeveloping their website – their main presence online for attracting and engaging with potential new clients, donors, and staff. Seniors Resource Center needed a website that would help them show up more effectively in search engine results and reflect the high quality of care and services they provide for seniors in Colorado. Their old site was outdated, didn’t work well on mobile devices, and was poorly organized, which made it hard to get found online and convert site traffic into interested, engaged stakeholders.
CHALLENGES
The main challenges were moving to a new domain name without losing SEO performance and porting their existing content to WordPress. Along the way, we helped them cull a large amount of legacy content that was no longer relevant to their audiences, and we guided their content team to deliver their message in a friendly, well-organized way.
SOLUTION
We started by researching how visitors actually used their old site and how their audiences looked for information. That led to a leaner site with far fewer pages, a clearer path for clients, donors, and job seekers, and an easy editing setup so SRC’s team can update content themselves. We also refreshed their look and feel, raising the design standard to help them attract more clients and staff.
RESULTS
The new site nearly doubled SRC’s website traffic year-over-year, improved SEO performance across the board, and was well received by all stakeholders. Most importantly, SRC finally has a look and feel it can be proud of.
