Timitrius Tattoo reached out to Relish for help with a website to promote their startup tattoo studio in the Denver Colorado area. Timitri and his team of talented artists create inspiring and beautiful tattoos and they needed a site that would represent the high quality of work they provide. Initially, the site was to be set up to provide opportunities for people seeking services to check out the portfolio online. Later, the site would expand to include the ability to schedule appointments and accept deposits for work to be completed.
Timitri wanted a site that aligned with his style and overall vibe – one that showcased the uniqueness of his approach to tattooing and one that would enable his artwork and attitude to take the forefront. Coming from a background in grafitti, we aimed to help showcase the attitude and culture Timitri developed at his studio through strong branding, culture-forward copywriting, and a design that wouldn’t distract visitors from the portfolio.
After working with Timitri to understand his tone of voice and the cultural components he wanted to capture on the site, we let him lead the charge with some unique branding to which we helped add a logotype and finishing touches. We then helped draft a narrative for the site – focusing our attention on creating copy that aligned with his voice.
From there, we built out several design options from which to choose – basing our recommendations on some print pieces he had already created and transforming that style and color palette to the web. Once he settled on a design, we helped flow in content that matched his style and tone, performed SEO to ensure that his site could be readily found online, and launched the site to the world.
We also helped Timitri navigate technical challenges including setting up online calendering/appointment setting and email accounts.
